Success on a healthy eating journey is all about being prepared! One thing I always need to have on hand is a little something sweet. These Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies are on a constant rotation at our house, including the ready-to-bake dough in the freezer!

why you should make keto chocolate chip cookies

I always have the ingredients ready to make these chocolate chip cookies because I know I will stay more on track with my healthy eating if I have something tasty I can easily reach for. The cookies mix and bake quickly, so you’re just a few minutes away from something delicious that won’t derail your eating plan. The only catch…trying not to eat them all!

The sugar substitute I use for the cookies is called Swerve and it is made from erythritol, which doesn’t raise blood sugar levels. I’ve tried a lot of different alternatives to sugar and this one is my favorite. I feel like it acts the most like sugar and doesn’t make my recipes overly sweet, which some other kinds can.
